The Midnight Club 2022
The Midnight Club is a 2022 American horror mystery-thriller television series. It was created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong, with The Midnight Club serving as showrunner, lead writer and executive producer. The show takes place in a hospice where eight terminally ill young adults gather each night to share scary stories; this group becomes known as "the Midnight Club". Each episode features both an ongoing narrative and the tales told by the characters. The series draws heavily from the 1994 novel The Midnight Club by Christopher Pike, incorporating short stories from 27 other books in the "Midnight Club" universe.
The cast includes Iman Benson, Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, William Chris Sumpter, and Sauriyan Sapkota as the eight main club members. Additional actors portray older residents and staff at the hospice, including Heather Langenkamp, Zach Gilford, Matt Biedel, and Samantha Sloyan. Many cast members also play characters from the "Midnight Club" tales themselves.
The Midnight Club debuted on Netflix on October 7, 2022. While it was planned as a limited series with two seasons, it ended after just one season in December 2022.
