Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip 2025
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip represents a 2025 American family road comedy produced by Marvin Lemus and penned by Matt Lopez. This reboot adapts the 2014 motion picture Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, derived from the children's book by Judith Viorst. The cast includes Eva Longoria, Jesse Garcia, Paulina Chávez, Rose Portillo, Thom Nemer, and Cheech Marin.
Disney engaged Lopez in December 2020 to develop a sequel to Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day for Disney+. While maintaining a comparable storyline, it emphasizes a "multigenerational Latino family." 21 Laps Entertainment and The Jim Henson Company resumed their producing roles. October 2022 witnessed Marvin Lemus agreeing to direct whereas Eva Longoria was cast as Val. The narrative centers on a family undertaking a road journey. By March 2024, the title was updated to Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip.
This production debuted solely on Disney+ during March 28, 2025.
