Halloween Ends is a 2022 American slasher film directed by David Gordon Green, and co-written by Green, Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier. It serves as the sequel to Halloween Kills (2021), marking the thirteenth entry in the Halloween franchise, and concludes the trilogy of sequels that began with the 2018 film. That 2018 movie directly continues from the events of the original 1978 film. The cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Rohan Campbell, Will Patton, Kyle Richards, and James Jude Courtney. The story centers on Corey Cunningham, an outcast who falls in love with Laurie Strode's granddaughter. A series of events, including encounters with Michael Myers, push him toward becoming a serial killer.

Prior to the release of Halloween in 2018, McBride confirmed that he and Green had planned to pitch two films to be shot simultaneously but ultimately chose to delay them. They waited to gauge audience response to the first movie. After its success, the title Halloween Ends was revealed in July 2019, alongside Halloween Kills. Green wanted each film in the trilogy to have a unique theme, with Halloween Ends focusing on a "love story." John Carpenter described this film as a "departure" from earlier entries in the trilogy. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, principal photography occurred in Georgia between January and March 2022, followed by re-shoots in mid-2022.

Halloween Ends had its premiere at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles on October 11, 2022 and was theatrically released in the United States on October 14, 2022 by Universal Pictures. Critics gave it mixed reviews, particularly criticizing its plot, writing, and emphasis on the new character Corey. However, performances—especially those of Curtis and Campbell—were praised. Many considered it a letdown as the trilogy's ending. The film earned $105 million domestically against a $33 million production budget, making it the lowest-grossing in Green’s trilogy but the third highest in the overall franchise.
