A 2022 mystery film based on the 1937 novel by Agatha Christie, Death on the Nile was directed by Kenneth Branagh and features a screenplay written by Michael Green. It marks the second cinematic version of Christie's work, after the 1978 film. This movie serves as a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express (2017), continuing the Hercule Poirot series. The production was handled by Branagh along with Ridley Scott, Judy Hofflund, Kevin J. Walsh.

The cast includes Branagh and Tom Bateman reprising their roles as Poirot and Bouc, respectively, joined by Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright. The film premiered in the United Kingdom and the United States on February 11, 2022 following multiple delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Critics gave it mixed reviews, and it earned $137.3 million. A follow-up titled A Haunting in Venice was released in 2023, again directed and starring Branagh as Poirot.
