The Naked Gun is a 2025 American action comedy parody motion picture directed by Akiva Schaffer, who collaborated on the screenplay with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. This production represents the fourth entry in The Naked Gun cinematic franchise and serves as the follow-up to Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994). Liam Neeson takes the leading role, supported by Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston. The storyline centers on the offspring of Lt. Frank Drebin, who must carry on his father's legacy to stop Police Squad from shutting down.

A fourth Naked Gun film was declared in 2009, intended as a direct-to-TV continuation featuring Leslie Nielsen returning as Drebin, with Alan Spencer set to pen the script. Nevertheless, the production was abandoned because of monetary issues, after which Spencer left and Nielsen passed away in 2010. Following multiple years of development, including an attempt to rework the project into a reboot starring Ed Helms in 2013, it was revealed in January 2021 that Seth MacFarlane had been assigned to oversee the project, expressing interest in having Neeson involved. Although MacFarlane was named director, Schaffer assumed the role once the film received approval in October 2022, and Neeson was chosen for the part. Anderson joined the cast in April 2024, with additional casting occurring the subsequent month, when principal photography commenced in Atlanta, Georgia. Production concluded in June, with a $42 million budget.

The Naked Gun debuted at the SVA Theater located in Manhattan on July 28, 2025, and was distributed within the United States by Paramount Pictures on August 1, 2025. Critics responded favorably to the film, and it generated $102 million globally.
