The Electric State represents a 2025 American science fiction action-adventure motion picture crafted under the production and direction of Anthony and Joe Russo. The screenplay authored by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely draws inspiration from the 2018 graphic novel created by Simon Stålenhag. Leading roles feature Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan (performing a dual role), Jason Alexander, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Giancarlo Esposito and Stanley Tucci.

Initial announcements regarding cinematic adaptation occurred in 2017, involving Andy Muschietti. The Russo brothers committed to directing duties in December 2020. Universal Pictures secured distribution privileges prior to Netflix assuming control of rights in June 2022. Major casting details emerged between June 2022 and November 2024, with principal photography conducted in Atlanta, Georgia during autumn 2022. A stated budget reaching $320 million positions it among the most costly productions ever created.

The Electric State made its debut at Grauman's Egyptian Theatre located in Los Angeles on February 24, 2025, followed by general release on Netflix throughout March 14. Critical reception proved unfavorable, with reviewers faulting both narrative structure and deviation from source content, despite acknowledging commendable visual effects and combat choreography.
