The Bad Guys 2 represents a 2025 American animated crime comedy produced by DreamWorks Animation. Serving as the follow-up to The Bad Guys (2022) and marking the second installment in the Bad Guys franchise, it draws inspiration from the children's book series The Bad Guys by Aaron Blabey. The movie was helmed by Pierre Perifel and penned by Yoni Brenner and Etan Cohen. Starring Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Awkwafina, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Zazie Beetz, Alex Borstein, Richard Ayoade, and Lilly Singh, who all reprise their roles from the initial film, Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne, and Maria Bakalova also join the ensemble. Within the narrative, the Bad Guys must abandon retirement to collaborate with an all-female criminal team for one final robbery.

Perifel indicated intentions to create a sequel to The Bad Guys in March 2022, prior to the first film's U.S. debut. A year later, DreamWorks Animation confirmed a sequel featuring Perifel and the voice actors returning. Lyonne was added to the cast in July 2024, while Brooks and Bakalova were announced in November. Daniel Pemberton created the soundtrack, returning from the prior movie.

The Bad Guys 2 made its debut in Argentina on July 24, 2025 before opening in the United States on August 1 through Universal Pictures. Critics responded favorably to the film, and it earned $240 million.
