Goodbye June represents a 2025 Christmas family drama directed by Kate Winslet in her first-time directing effort, based on a screenplay penned by her offspring, Joe Anders. This production features an ensemble lineup with Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall, Helen Mirren, and Winslet appearing together. The narrative unfolds during the holiday season when family members assemble around their terminally ill mother, addressing concepts of sorrow, healing, and affection.

Winslet stated she originally didn't plan to direct, yet upon reading Anders' screenplay she chose to assume the directorial role alongside acting and producing duties. She highlighted the story's healing quality, noting it "focuses on family, not merely mortality". Winslet chose multiple newcomers for key positions, including composer Ben Harlan, production designer Alison Harvey, and costume designer Grace Clark, demonstrating her intention to support rising professionals. Additionally, she implemented non-traditional filming techniques, such as positioning miniature microphones on performers rather than utilizing standard boom systems, aiming to generate a more personal ambiance within the filming environment.

Goodbye June premiered in limited cinemas throughout the United Kingdom and United States on 12 December 2025, followed by online availability commencing on Netflix during 24 December.
