Five Nights at Freddy's 2 represents a 2025 American supernatural horror motion picture derived from the video game franchise Five Nights at Freddy's, authored by Scott Cawthon, and functioning as the sequel to the 2023 cinematic version. The production was led by Emma Tammi and scripted by Cawthon. Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard return to their earlier roles, while Mckenna Grace, Wayne Knight, and Skeet Ulrich become part of the ensemble. The narrative unfolds a year and a half following the prior film, centering on Abby Schmidt (Rubio), who becomes entangled with the Marionette, an animatronic originating from the initial Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, as it seeks vengeance against grown-ups.

Cawthon indicated in August 2018 that a potential second Five Nights at Freddy's film could be produced, adapting events from the series' second game, contingent upon the first film’s performance. Hutcherson disclosed the sequel's creation in January 2024, with Blumhouse Productions verifying it after three months. Principal filming commenced in November 2024 and ended in February 2025 within New Orleans and nearby areas.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 made its debut at the TCL Chinese Theater on December 2, 2025, subsequently released in the United States through Universal Pictures on December 5. Although critics offered unfavorable assessments, the film achieved financial success, earning $240 million globally, despite a production cost ranging from $36 to 51 million.
