A 2017 American biographical film, Molly's Game is written and directed by Aaron Sorkin in his first time behind the camera. The movie is based on the 2014 memoir by Molly Bloom. It tells the story of Molly, an Olympic-class skier who later becomes involved in illegal underground poker games. Her activities make her a focus of an FBI probe.

Jessica Chastain portrays Molly, while Idris Elba plays her legal counsel and Kevin Costner takes on the role of her father. Supporting cast includes Michael Cera, Jeremy Strong, Chris O'Dowd, Joe Keery, Brian d'Arcy James, and Bill Camp. The film shows how she builds a high-end poker operation in Los Angeles and New York. Her guests include famous actors, top athletes, rich businesspeople, and Russian mafia members, unknown to her.

Molly's Game was well received by critics. Sorkin’s script and the acting performances of Chastain and Elba were widely praised. Chastain's role earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress – Drama. Sorkin also gained recognition with Academy Award, Golden Globe, Writers Guild of America, and BAFTA nominations.

Principal filming took place in November 2016 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The movie made its debut on September 8, 2017 at the Toronto International Film Festival. It began a limited release in the United States on December 25, 2017 through STX Entertainment. The film was released globally on January 5, 2018, collecting $59 million around the world.
