Daddy's Home 2 2017
Daddy's Home 2, also known as Daddy's Home Two, is a 2017 American Christmas buddy comedy film directed by Sean Anders and written by Anders and John Morris. It serves as a sequel to the 2015 film Daddy's Home and features Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Linda Cardellini, John Cena, with John Lithgow and Mel Gibson. The story centers on Brad and Dusty (Ferrell and Wahlberg), now-reformed fathers who are co-parenting Dusty's children and must navigate having their own fathers (Lithgow and Gibson) visit for the holidays.
This installment differs from the first as Red Granite Pictures did not participate in its production. Principal photography started in Massachusetts in March 2017 and the movie premiered in the United States through Paramount Pictures on November 10, 2017. Critics gave the film mostly negative feedback, yet it earned over $180 million worldwide, surpassing its $69–70 million budget.
