AnimatedAnimated superheroSuperhero comedy

A 2018 American animated superhero comedy film, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, stars the DC Comics team known as the Teen Titans. The movie originates from the Cartoon Network television show Teen Titans Go!, and was created by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, then released by Warner Bros. Pictures. Directed by Peter Rida Michail and Aaron Horvath, with a screenplay written by Horvath in collaboration with Michael Jelenic, it includes voices from Greg Cipes, Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Tara Strong, and Hynden Walch, who return to their roles from the series. Will Arnett and Kristen Bell also appear, with the former taking on a producing role.

Set during the fifth season of the TV series, the story centers on the Teen Titans trying to make their own movie in Hollywood while facing off against the supervillain Slade. In September 2017, Warner Bros. Pictures revealed the film project, confirming that the show's voice actors would reprise their parts. A month later, Arnett and Bell were cast in main roles.

The film debuted at the TCL Chinese Theatre on July 22, 2018 before its wide release in the U.S. on July 27, 2018. It earned $52.1 million globally against a budget of $10 million. Critics responded favorably, highlighting the plot, comedy, songs, and overall enjoyment. This marks one of the final works for longtime DC producer Benjamin Melniker, who passed away five months prior to its release.
