A 2018 American teen romantic comedy drama film, Love, Simon was directed by Greg Berlanti and features a screenplay written by Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker, adapted from the 2015 novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. The movie follows Simon Spier, a teenage boy navigating the challenges of being closeted while also trying to uncover the identity of an anonymous classmate he has fallen for online. This storyline unfolds as he faces pressure from both his personal relationships and a threatening blackmailer who intends to expose him to the entire school.

The film stars Nick Robinson, Jennifer Garner, Josh Duhamel, Talitha Bateman, Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. It made its debut at the Mardi Gras Film Festival on February 27, 2018, followed by a United States release through 20th Century Fox on March 16, 2018. Reviewers appreciated the film’s emotional depth, praising its cast and portraying it as a "classic" with "big heart", "revolutionary normalcy", and qualities described as "funny, warm-hearted and life-affirming". Critics compared it favorably to works by John Hughes.

As the first major studio production addressing gay teenage romance, Love, Simon earned $66.7million globally, surpassing its $10–17 million budget. Domestically, it ranked as the 15th-highest-grossing teen film and the 3rd-highest-grossing teen film by 20th Century Fox since 1980. A sequel series titled Love, Victor began airing on Hulu on June 17, 2020, later becoming available on Disney+ in June 15, 2022.
