A 2018 live-action animated fantasy comedy drama film, Christopher Robin stars Ewan McGregor as the adult title character who has lost his childhood wonder. The movie is based on the Winnie-the-Pooh books by A. A. Milne, illustrated by E. H. Shepard, and produced as part of the Disney universe. Directed by Marc Forster, the screenplay was written by Alex Ross Perry, Tom McCarthy, and Allison Schroeder. Hayley Atwell plays his wife Evelyn, while Jim Cummings reprises his roles as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, with Nick Mohammed voicing Piglet and Brad Garrett as Eeyore. The plot involves Christopher Robin reconnecting with his childhood friend Winnie the Pooh, who needs to be guided back to the Hundred Acre Wood to find his other friends.

The concept of a live-action Winnie the Pooh adaptation was first announced in April 2015. Marc Forster was confirmed as director in November 2016, and April 2017 saw McGregor signed on for the role of Christopher Robin. Principal filming started in August and concluded in November of that year, taking place across the United Kingdom.

Christopher Robin made its premiere in Burbank, California on July 30, 2018 and opened in U.S. theaters on August 3 under Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Critics responded positively, highlighting the acting, score, and visual effects. It earned $197.7 million globally, becoming the top-grossing film in the Disney Winnie the Pooh series, surpassing The Tigger Movie from 2000. The movie was also nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 91st Academy Awards.
