A 2020 American monster adventure film, Love and Monsters was directed by Michael Matthews and produced by Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. The movie features Dylan O'Brien, Jessica Henwick, Dan Ewing, and Michael Rooker in starring roles.

The project began development in 2012 under the title Monster Problems. It remained in development for six years before October 2018, when O'Brien and Matthews became involved. Additional cast members joined during subsequent months, with principal photography occurring in Australia from March through May 2019.

Paramount Pictures initially planned a wide theatrical release in March 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the studio chose a digital video on demand launch along with select theaters on October 16, 2020. Netflix handled international distribution, releasing the film on its platform on April 14, 2021. Critics responded positively to the movie, and it earned a nomination for Best Visual Effects at the 93rd Academy Awards.
