Supernatural horror

Final Destination Bloodlines represents a 2025 American supernatural horror motion picture helmed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, with screenwriting contributions from Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. This film constitutes the sixth entry within the Final Destination cinematic universe, featuring Kaitlyn Santa Juana in the role of a college-aged individual who gains prophetic glimpses of a 1969 catastrophic event that her deceased grandmother had narrowly avoided, wherein the elder woman alerts her granddaughter that Death is targeting their lineage. Supporting performances are delivered by Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd.

Following the triumph of the prior movie, a sixth production commenced development, characterized as a reworking of the franchise concept. During March 2020, series producer Craig Perry indicated that the project would be positioned "within the domain of first responders." By January 2022, the film was planned for debut on the streaming platform HBO Max, with Lipovsky and Stein assuming directorial duties and Busick becoming co-author alongside Taylor. In March 2024, Warner Bros. Pictures declared that the movie would instead undergo a theatrical distribution. Principal photography occurred in Vancouver spanning from March through May 2024, after postponements due to the SAG-AFTRA labor dispute.

Final Destination Bloodlines premiered domestically on May 16, 2025 via Warner Bros. Pictures. The motion picture garnered favorable critical reception and earned $317.9 million, establishing itself as both the most critically acclaimed and financially triumphant chapter of the franchise. A follow-up production is set for release in May 2028.
