Bad Trip 2021
A 2021 American hidden camera comedy film, Bad Trip was directed by Kitao Sakurai. It stars Eric André and Lil Rel Howery as best friends who journey from Florida to New York City, with one of them planning to confess his feelings to his high school crush, Michaela Conlin. During the trip, they are being pursued by Tiffany Haddish, the criminal sister of one of the travelers, after stealing her vehicle.
The movie was set to debut at South by Southwest on March 14, 2020 and was scheduled for a theatrical release by Orion Pictures on April 17, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was pushed back indefinitely. It ended up being mistakenly made available on Amazon Prime Video on April 17, and was leaked before its official launch. Eventually, Netflix acquired the film and distributed it on March 26, 2021. Critics responded favorably to Bad Trip.
