Bugonia is a 2025 dark comedy directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and written by Will Tracy. This English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet! by Jang Joon-hwan centers on two young men who kidnap a powerful CEO, believing she is secretly an alien aiming to destroy Earth. The movie features Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone in its cast.

The film represents a collaboration between the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Korea, and the United States. Initial development started in 2020, with Jang set to direct, Will Tracy adapting the screenplay, and Ari Aster serving as producer. Jang later withdrew from directing due to health issues but stayed on as executive producer. By February 2024, Lanthimos was brought on board as director, while Stone joined as both actress and producer. Plemons became part of the project that May, and Focus Features acquired the film for distribution at the Cannes Film Festival shortly after. Principal photography commenced in July across High Wycombe, England, and Atlanta, Georgia, during which time additional cast members were announced. Further filming occurred in May 2025 on Milos, Greece. With an estimated budget ranging from $45 to 55 million, Bugonia marked Lanthimos's most costly production.

Bugonia debuted in the main competition of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 28, 2025, followed by a theatrical release in the United States through Focus Features on October 24. The film garnered mostly favorable reviews, especially highlighting Stone and Plemons. Their performances earned nominations at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and the 32nd Actor Awards. At the 98th Academy Awards, it received four nods, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Stone.
