Star Wars Outlaws 2024
Star Wars Outlaws is a 2024 action-adventure video game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game takes place in the Star Wars universe between the events of The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). It follows Kay Vess, a young scoundrel who gathers a team to pull off a major heist in order to break free from a crime syndicate. Players control the character from a third-person view while exploring an open world and participating in different activities.
The development team worked with Lucasfilm Games and ten other Ubisoft studios to blend canonical Star Wars content with original concepts, aiming for cinematic and smooth gameplay. Humberly González handled motion capture and voice work for Kay, while Dee Bradley Baker voiced her companion, Nix.
Star Wars Outlaws launched on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on August 30, 2024. It later released for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2025. Critics gave the game mostly positive reviews. In October 2024, Ubisoft reported that sales of Star Wars Outlaws did not meet expectations.
