Foamstars is a 2024 third-person shooter video game developed by Square Enix. This 4v4 arena shooter lets players attack opponents using colorful foam while constructing defensive barriers. The game debuted during the 2023 PlayStation Showcase on May 24, 2023 and launched on February 6, 2024 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

After its release, Foamstars continued receiving updates through seasonal content until its final season ended on January 17, 2025. On October 4, 2024, the game transitioned to a free-to-play model. Critics gave the title mixed reviews, appreciating its core gameplay and visual design but criticizing its microtransaction system. The game faced challenges maintaining player engagement over time.
