Fear the Spotlight 2024
Fear the Spotlight is a 2024 survival horror stealth video game developed by Cozy Game Pals and published by Blumhouse Games. The experience centers on high school students Vivian and Amy, who encounter supernatural occurrences at their school following a failed seance.
The project originated with husband-and-wife creators Bryan Singh and Crista Castro, who started working on it in 2022, drawing inspiration from the early stages of their romance. They initially released a version on Steam in 2023. Soon after, Blumhouse Games discovered the game and contacted Castro and Singh, offering resources to enhance and release it across consoles—accepting the opportunity made Fear the Spotlight the company's main title.
The game launched on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on 22 October 2024. It received favorable reviews upon its release.
