Adventure

Big Walk is a 2026 cooperative adventure video game developed by Australian studio House House and published by Panic. The game takes place in an open-world bushland setting where players explore and solve puzzles through various communication methods.

After Untitled Goose Game launched in 2019, creators at House House sought a virtual environment during the COVID-19 lockdown periods, leading to early development of Big Walk. Full production lasted six years. Players control colorful segmented humanoid characters using a proximity chat system and interactive objects for communication. The game's world, plant models, and audio elements are directly inspired by Wilsons Promontory, an Australian national park.

Big Walk launched on 4 August 2026 for macOS, Windows, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Critics acclaimed the title for its setting, puzzle design, innovation, and multiplayer aspects. Some reviewers connected it to the "friendslop" category, though they noted differences in tone and structure. The game received multiple Golden Joystick Award nominations.
