Danganronpa 2×2 is an upcoming visual novel adventure game set for release on January 14, 2027. It is being developed by Gemdrops with help from Too Kyo Games and published by Spike Chunsoft. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Danganronpa 2×2 includes two main parts: Original Mode, which is a remake of the 2012 title Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Slayhem Mode, a new storyline featuring the same characters with different suspects and victims. Slayhem Mode was written by Yoichiro Koizumi, based on a concept by Takekuni Kitayama and series creator Kazutaka Kodaka. This mode provides approximately 20% more content than Original Mode. The game supports single-player gameplay. Danganronpa 2×2 is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2.
