Phantom Blade Zero is a 2010 wuxia action role-playing video game developed and published by the Chinese studio S-Game. The player controls Soul, an elite assassin who serves the Order and becomes framed for killing the Order's patriarch, leading to being hunted by the Order's members. After receiving a fatal heart wound and being revived with a corrupted heart, he has only a limited number of days to live. The narrative takes place in the Phantom World, focusing on his quest to restore his heart and uncover the conspiracy that has wrongfully convicted him. This title is part of the Phantom Blade series.
The game's combat system draws from Chinese martial arts. It features motion capture performances by martial artists including Donnie Yen, partnerships with traditional martial arts schools, and references to classic martial arts films.
