The Light in the Darkness 2023
The Light in the Darkness is a 2023 educational video game developed by French designer Luc Bernard. It follows a Polish-Jewish family living through the Holocaust in Nazi-occupied France. The game combines interactive narrative with historical content such as archival photos and documents. Its purpose is to educate young players about the Holocaust using an emotional, story-based approach. The game was released by Voices of the Forgotten, a nonprofit organization established by Bernard to advance Holocaust education via digital platforms.
