Black Skylands is a 2023 action-adventure top-down shooter video game developed by Russian indie studio Hungry Couch Games and published by tinyBuild. The game entered early access for Windows on 9 July 2021 and released 15 August 2023 on Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Set in the fictional floating continent of Aspya, the game follows female protagonist Eva, daughter of her clan's leader, as she protects Aspya from raiders and mysterious creatures known as The Swarm emerging from storms. Players can customize weapons and airship, construct bases, seize lands, extend territory, and investigate dungeons including randomly generated ones. The game features an open world environment. Reviewers have described Black Skylands as combining elements of Hotline Miami, Sunless Skies, and Stardew Valley.
