The Coin is a 2024 novel written by Palestinian author Yasmin Zaher and released through Catapult Books. The book received the 2025 Dylan Thomas Prize, was shortlisted for the 2025 Gotham Book Prize, and was included on the New York Times 100 Notable Books of the Year list for 2024.

Zaher stated that Clarice Lispector’s novel The Passion According to G.H. served as the main source of inspiration for The Coin, and she referenced Ottessa Moshfegh's My Year of Rest and Relaxation as its "soul sister," after reading it. Zaher has expressed some unease about the novel’s critical success, noting that current events in Israel and Palestine might have influenced the wide attention it initially received. Critics have praised the book for its fearless portrayal of an immigrant's life in America (The Millions called it "the Year's Best New York City Novel"), and Elif Batuman said she "loved" the "bonkers" work, while Slavoj Žižek described it as a "masterpiece.
