Moon Knight is a 2022 American television miniseries produced by Marvel Studios for the streaming platform Disney+. It is the sixth series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and was created by Jeremy Slater based on material from Marvel Comics, featuring the titular character. The story centers on Marc Spector and Steven Grant, two alters of a man suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID), who become involved in a mystery connected to Egyptian deities. Mohamed Diab leads the directing team while Slater is head writer.

Oscar Isaac portrays both Marc Spector / Moon Knight and Steven Grant / Mr. Knight, with May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, Ethan Hawke, Ann Akinjirin, David Ganly, Khalid Abdalla, Gaspard Ulliel, Antonia Salib, Fernanda Andrade, Rey Lucas, Sofia Danu, and Saba Mubarak also starring. The series was announced in August 2019, with Slater hired in November. Diab was brought on to direct four episodes in October 2020. Directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead joined in January 2021 to direct the remaining two episodes. Isaac, who was confirmed at the time, used distinct accents to distinguish between Spector’s different personas.

Principal photography occurred from April through October 2021, mainly in Budapest, with additional filming in Jordan, Slovenia, and Atlanta, Georgia. Moon Knight premiered on March 30, 2022 and concluded after six episodes on May 4. It is part of Phase Four of the MCU. The miniseries garnered positive reviews, especially for its acting—particularly Isaac, Calamawy, and Hawke—its darker tone in contrast to earlier MCU productions, and its depiction of DID.
