The Winter King 2023
The Winter King is a British historical fiction television series adapted from Bernard Cornwell's novel, the initial work in The Warlord Chronicles trilogy. This show reimagines Arthurian tales set in Post-Roman Britain during the Dark Age, depicting Saxons invading while a young king remains unguarded on the throne. Iain De Caestecker portrays Arthur in this production. The series launched on MGM+ in the U.S. on 20 August 2023 and appeared on ITVX in the U.K. on 21 December 2023. It concluded in September 2024 after only one season containing 10 episodes.
