A 2026 American gothic horror drama television miniseries, The Fall of the House of Usher was created by Mike Flanagan and adapted from the 1839 short story and other writings of Edgar Allan Poe. The eight-part series debuted on Netflix in October 12, 2023, with each episode directed by either Flanagan or Michael Fimognari. Michael Fimognari also served as cinematographer throughout the production.

The narrative spans from 1953 to 2023, weaving together multiple Poe-inspired tales into a nonlinear storyline. It chronicles the ascent of Roderick Usher, a powerful CEO of a corrupt pharmaceutical firm, and his sister Madeline, the company's brilliant COO. The series follows the tragic events leading to the deaths of all six of Roderick’s children.

The ensemble cast features Carla Gugino as the enigmatic "Verna" who haunts the Usher family, alongside Bruce Greenwood and Mary McDonnell portraying an aged Roderick and Madeline. The first two episodes were shown at Fantastic Fest in September 2023, followed by the full release in Netflix. Within its initial two weeks, the miniseries attracted over 13 million views.

Critics responded favorably to the production’s technical execution and acting, particularly praising performances by Gugino, Greenwood, and Mark Hamill. However, opinions were divided regarding how the series handled its source material.
