The Burning Girls 2023
British psychological horror drama miniseries The Burning Girls adapts C.J. Tudor's 2021 novel, with screenplay by Hans Rosenfeldt and Camilla Ahlgren. Produced by Buccaneer Media for Paramount+, it features Samantha Morton and Ruby Stokes in roles of Reverend Jack Brooks (Morton) and her daughter Flo (Stokes). The pair relocates to Chapel Croft, a location with sinister local past. Ancient beliefs and suspicion toward outsiders define the area's character.
Premiering on 19 October 2023 date Paramount+, this series garnered uneven critical reception.
