The Doomies represents an animated horror comedy series developed by filmmaker Andrés Fernandez, written by Henry Gifford and designed by Rémi Zaarour, manufactured by French studio Xilam collaborating with Disney Television Animation. This program centers on close companions Bobby and Romy, whose peaceful seaside community becomes overrun with terrifying occurrences once they unintentionally create an entrance to the netherworld. Critics have described this program as a spiritual descendant of Gravity Falls (2012–2016).
The Doomies premiered on Disney+ during June 26, 2026 and transmitted internationally through Disney Channel beginning October 12, 2026.
