Silo is a 2026 American science fiction dystopian drama series. It was created by Graham Yost and adapted from the Silo trilogy of novels—Wool, Shift, and Dust—by Hugh Howey. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where a large underground community exists within a silo containing 144 levels. Juliette Nichols, an engineer played by Rebecca Ferguson, discovers secrets about both the past and present of this isolated society. Supporting cast members include Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Avi Nash, Rick Gomez, Chinaza Uche, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Alexandria Riley, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Steve Zahn, Ashley Zukerman, Jessica Henwick, Reed Birney, Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, and Matt Craven.

A film version of Wool started development in 2012 but was canceled by the end of that decade. The project then evolved into a television series, which premiered on Apple TV+ in May 2021. Principal filming began in August 2021, with the first season consisting of ten episodes and launching on May 5, 2023. Season two debuted on November 15, 2024, followed by season three on July 3, 2026. Critics praised all three seasons for their world-building, production design, and performances, especially Rebecca Ferguson’s portrayal. In December 2024, the show was renewed for a fourth and final season scheduled to air on July 9, 2027.
