Scott Pilgrim Takes Off 2023
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is an anime adventure television miniseries created by Bryan Lee O'Malley and BenDavid Grabinski for Netflix. This production adapts the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim by O'Malley, utilizing the complete main cast from the 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, who return to voice their characters in English. The miniseries premiered on November 17, 2023.
Although both the movie and Takes Off draw from the original comics, this anime version presents an alternate storyline where the main character Scott Pilgrim vanishes during the first episode. The rest of the series focuses on Ramona Flowers searching for those responsible for his disappearance, while other figures in the narrative work on developing a fictional portrayal of Scott's life. Following the cancellation of the animated show before a second season could be produced, a follow-up video game titled Scott Pilgrim EX was launched on March 3, 2026.
