Jury Duty 2023
Jury Duty (2023) is an American reality hoax sitcom series that blends documentary style with fictional elements. The show centers on a fabricated jury trial, with Ronald Gladden playing a juror who remains oblivious to the deception. James Marsden appears alongside a large cast in the series created by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. It debuted on Amazon Freevee on April 7, 2023.
The series garnered attention through multiple award nominations. At the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, it was recognized with three nods including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Marsden. Additionally, two Golden Globe nominations were earned at the 81st Golden Globes, for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Supporting Actor for Marsden. It also captured a Peabody Award.
A second season titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat was confirmed in February 2025, featuring a shift from courtroom to corporate setting involving a family hot sauce business. This season launched on Amazon Prime Video on March 20, 2026 after Freevee ended its run. In May 2026, the show received approval for a third season.
