Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai is an American animated fantasy adventure horror comedy series created by Tze Chun. This prequel to the 1984 film Gremlins takes place in 1920s Shanghai and follows the tale of how 10-year-old Sam Wing encountered Gizmo, a young Mogwai. Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Sam Register, and Brendan Hay are executive producers, with Joe Dante, director of the original Gremlins, serving as consulting producer.

The series was renewed for a second season in February 2021 prior to its debut. Its first episode made its world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 13, 2022, followed by the series launch on Max on May 23, 2023, which included 10 episodes. Originally scheduled to air on Cartoon Network as part of their "ACME Night" programming block, the block was relocated to Adult Swim before the show could debut.

The first half of season two, titled The Wild Batch, premiered on October 3, 2024. It depicts Sam and Gizmo's journey from Shanghai to America, culminating in Randall Peltzer’s discovery of Gizmo. The second part of the season released on April 10, 2025.
