Comedy horror

Goosebumps is a 2023 American supernatural horror television series created by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller for Disney+ and Hulu. It originates from the book series written by R. L. Stine. Unlike the 1995 TV adaptation that used an anthology format, this version adopts a serialized narrative structure. Each season features new storylines while incorporating some of the classic Goosebumps creatures and objects occasionally.

The show was initially announced in 2020 as a development project by Sony Pictures Television together with Original Film and Scholastic Entertainment. These companies had previously produced the movies Goosebumps (2015) and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (2018). Letterman, who directed the first movie, was brought on board in 2022 to write and produce the series with Stoller. He also directed the pilot episode.

Goosebumps debuted on October 13, 2023, on Disney+ and Hulu at the same time as part of the "Hallowstream" and "Huluween" streaming segments. Critics gave it a mixed response. In February 2024, the series was ordered for a second season called Goosebumps: The Vanishing, which began airing on Disney+ and Hulu on January 10, 2025. After two seasons, the show ended in August 2025.

Over its run, the series earned nineteen Children's and Family Emmy Award nominations.
