Class is an Indian Hindi-language crime drama thriller series that debuted in 2023. It was created by Ashim Ahluwalia and adapted from the Spanish show Elite. The story takes place at Hampton International, a fictional prestigious high school located in Delhi. The plot centers on three students from working-class backgrounds and their interactions with wealthier peers. The production company behind the show is Bodhi Tree Multimedia, with Future East Film as a partner.
The series addresses various social challenges faced by young people today, such as casteism, neglect of children, corruption, homophobia, religious bias, and economic disparity in India. 8 episodes of Class were made available on 3 February 2023 on Netflix. On 6 March 2023, Netflix announced the renewal for a second season. Later, the network quietly cancelled the program by removing a confirmation label from its online listing.
At the 2023 Filmfare OTT Awards, Class earned 5 nominations, including one for Best Adapted Screenplay (Series), awarded to Khambatta.
