Citadel 2023
Citadel is an American spy action television series that premiered on April 28, 2023 and was created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil for Amazon Prime Video. The Russo brothers served as executive producers. Starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra as secret agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, the show follows their story after being attacked by a rival agency and having their memories erased. They must then recover their identities and resist. The first season contained six episodes and had a production budget of US$300 million, making it one of the most expensive TV series ever produced. In March 2023, the series was renewed for a second season with seven episodes, which debuted on May 6, 2026. Spin-off shows in multiple languages were also announced, including settings in the Italian Alps, India, Spain, and Mexico. The Italian version, Citadel: Diana, began airing on October 10, 2024, while the Indian adaptation, Citadel: Honey Bunny, started on November 7, 2024.
