My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murders 2026
My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murders is an American true crime documentary series that debuted on Paramount+ in April 28, 2026. This three-part program was helmed by Aengus James and created by See It Now Studios in collaboration with This Is Just a Test Productions.
The show investigates accusations directed at Donald Dean Studey, a man from Iowa nicknamed "The Monster of Green Hollow," who is said to have murdered numerous women across many years, including three wives whose deaths were initially classified as suicides. The focus lies on his daughter, Lucy Studey McKiddy, who asserts that she and her siblings were compelled as minors to assist in burying corpses in a vintage well located on their countryside estate. These public allegations created division within the Studey family and reignited scrutiny from police and reporters into longstanding regional speculation. During 2022, the FBI collaborated with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation in reviewing these assertions. The documentary draws upon a three-year probe conducted by the production team, utilizing testimonies, historical footage, forensic review, and excavation visuals.
Each of the three episodes launched at the same time. The first episode, titled "The Women," presents Lucy's allegations and their impact on her family and neighborhood. The second episode reviews the fatalities of Studey's wives and uncovers further claims of mistreatment from past associates. The final episode, "The Wells," chronicles the digging operation and features a dying statement along with updated forensic findings concerning one wife's demise.
The series holds a TV-MA classification due to its content involving domestic violence, suspected murder, and remains-related discussion. It can only be accessed through Paramount+ within the United States and Canada, without any cinema or other streaming platforms available for distribution.
