Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness 2026
Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness (alternatively titled Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America) represents a 2026 American sketch comedy miniseries authored by Larry David and Jeff Schaffer. Under the production banner of Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions, this series debuted on HBO during June 26, 2026 and terminated on August 7, 2026. The program employs an improvisational, humorous methodology toward significant moments in United States history commemorating the 250th anniversary of American founding. This show contains seven episodes, each featuring roughly four historical sketches. Similar to David and Schaffer's prior HBO production, Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000–2024), the conversation largely lacks written scripts and relies substantially on improvisation within structural frameworks.
