Scrubs 2026
Scrubs (stylized as [scrubs]) represents an American medical comedy series crafted by Bill Lawrence for ABC, functioning as a sequel to the 2001–2010 television show bearing identical designation, while being produced by Aseem Batra and Tim Hobert. The program received official confirmation from ABC in July 2025, depicting J.D.'s return to Sacred Heart as its fresh Chief of Medicine after extended time past the eighth season's conclusion; this reboot disregards occurrences from the ninth season of the precursor show, wherein Sacred Heart Hospital was destroyed. Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison all reappear in their initial series capacities, together with intermittent comebacks and roles by John C. McGinley and Judy Reyes.
The Scrubs reboot debuted with its nine-episode inaugural season on February 25, 2026. The ten-episode sophomore season, declared that April, launched on September 30, 2026.
