Dave 2020
Dave (stylized as DAVE) is an American television sitcom that debuted on FXX in March 4, 2020. Rapper and comedian Dave Burd (performing under the name "Lil Dicky") developed the show alongside Jeff Schaffer, portraying the main character. Kevin Hart, Greg Mottola, and Scooter Braun served as producers for the series. Lil Dicky's actual hype man, GaTa, appears in the show as himself. The series received a second season renewal on May 11, 2020, launching on June 16, 2021. A third season was ordered on February 17, 2022 by FXX, beginning its run on April 5, 2023. FX indicated on February 1, 2024 that no further renewals were planned at that time, as creator Burd focuses on different ventures.
