Cleopatra in Space is an American animated science fiction comedy series created by DreamWorks Animation and produced by Titmouse, Inc., adapting the graphic novel series by Mike Maihack. The series was developed under the guidance of showrunners Doug Langdale and Fitzy Fitzmaurice.

In the United States, the initial five episodes premiered on NBCUniversal’s streaming platform Peacock for Xfinity subscribers on April 15, 2020, marking the first time a DreamWorks Animation production appeared on a streaming service outside of Netflix or Prime Video. According to reports, only select episodes were accessible through an early preview for Comcast users. The full first season launched nationwide on July 15, 2020 when the platform became available more widely. Before its U.S. debut, the show aired in Southeast Asia on DreamWorks Channel starting November 25, 2019. Targeted at viewers aged between 6 and 11, Langdale mentioned in an interview that his main goal was ensuring the series remained approachable for younger viewers, without focusing heavily on a specific age group.
