Bridgerton is a 2020 American alternative history, Regency romance television series produced by Chris Van Dusen for Netflix. It originates from the book series of the same name by Julia Quinn and marks Shondaland's initial scripted project for the streaming platform. The show features an ensemble cast including Phoebe Dynevor, Rege-Jean Page, Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Adjoa Andoh, Nicola Coughlan, Ruth Gemmell, Claudia Jessie, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Yerin Ha, Hannah Dodd, Masali Baduza and Polly Walker.

The series is narrated by Julie Andrews and centers on the Bridgerton family's close-knit siblings as they move through the intense social season. During this time, young members of the ton—comprising nobility and gentry—are presented to society. Set in an alternate London Regency period during the early 19th century, the show depicts a world where George III has established racial equality and granted aristocratic titles to people of color due to Queen Charlotte's fictional African heritage within the narrative.

The first season premiered on December 25, 2020. The second season began airing on March 25, 2022. Season three was split into two parts, debuting on May 16 and June 13, 2024. Season four also appeared in two parts, with releases on January 29 and February 26, 2026. The series has been ordered for a fifth and sixth season. In addition, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, a prequel focusing on Queen Charlotte, was made available in May 2023, between seasons two and three. A second prequel concentrating on Violet Bridgerton is currently in development.

Bridgerton received favorable reviews for its direction, acting, production design and sets. It won five Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, a Make-Up Artists And Hair Stylists Guild Award, and received nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Satellite Awards and NAACP Image Awards. The musical score composed by Kris Bowers was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category.
