Betaal 2020
Betaal is an Indian zombie action horror series set in a remote village battleground. The story features Lt. Col John Lynedoch, an East India Company Army officer, and his battalion of zombie redcoats from the Indian Rebellion of 1857. A fictional CIPD force also appears in the series. It is written and directed by Patrick Graham, with co-direction by National Award winner Nikhil Mahajan. The show is produced by Blumhouse Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment. Stars include Vineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra. Reviews were generally negative, praising performances and mythology-zombie blend while criticizing editing and lack of thrills.
