WandaVision is an American television miniseries developed by Jac Schaeffer for the streaming platform Disney+, adapting material from Marvel Comics and featuring characters Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision. It marks the first television production under Marvel Studios within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), maintaining continuity with the film series, and takes place following the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame (2019). The storyline centers on Wanda Maximoff and Vision living a peaceful suburban existence in Westview, New Jersey, before their world begins shifting through various decades of sitcom references and television conventions. Matt Shakman directed the series, while Schaeffer was the main writer.

Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return as Wanda and Vision from the movies, with additional cast members including Debra Jo Rupp, Fred Melamed, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Randall Park, Kat Dennings, and Evan Peters. By September 2018, Marvel Studios was planning multiple limited series for Disney+ that would highlight supporting characters like Wanda and Vision, with Olsen and Bettany confirmed to reprise their roles. Schaeffer was brought on board in January 2019, the show officially unveiled that same April, and Shakman joined the team in August. The production team built authentic sets, costumes, and visual effects to accurately recreate distinct sitcom eras referenced throughout the series. Principal photography started in Atlanta, Georgia, in November 2019, but halted in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Production resumed in Los Angeles during September 2020 and wrapped up in November of that year.

WandaVision debuted with its first two episodes on January 15, 2021 and continued for a total of nine episodes, ending on March 5. It initiated Phase Four of the MCU and was the first series in this phase. Critics appreciated the show’s tribute to classic television formats and commended the acting, particularly from Olsen, Bettany, and Hahn, although some critiques were directed at the finale. The series sparked extensive fan debates and critical commentary due to its themes of loss and memory. It earned 23 Primetime Emmy nominations, securing three wins. Olsen reprised her role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), continuing Wanda’s narrative from WandaVision. Two follow-up series were produced: Agatha All Along, starring Hahn's Agatha Harkness, which premiered in September 2024, and VisionQuest, featuring Bettany’s Vision, which launched in October 2026, completing a trilogy with WandaVision.
