Super Crooks 2021
Super Crooks is an adult animated superhero original net animation series that adapts the 2012 Marvel comic book series created by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu. The show was written by Dai Satō and Tsukasa Kondo, and debuted on Netflix on November 25, 2021. It follows small-time crook Johnny Bolt as he gathers a group of eight super-villains to carry out a super-powered robbery. The initial nine episodes function as a prequel to the comic series, while the final four episodes directly adapt the source material. This series originates from Jupiter's Legacy (2021), which aired on Netflix. In June 2021, plans for a live-action Super Crooks series and second spin-off tied to the cancelled Jupiter's Legacy were announced as being in active development.
