Rugrats is a 2021 American animated television series made by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó, and Paul Germain. It serves as a reboot of the original show that ran from 1991 to 2004. The series debuted on May 27, 2021 in Paramount+ and became the second Nickelodeon production created for that streaming platform. This version differed from earlier versions because it was made by Nickelodeon Animation Studio in cooperation with Klasky Csupo.
On March 28, 2024, the show was taken off Paramount+ due to a decision to concentrate on content appealing globally. Season 2 episode releases had already shifted to the Nicktoons channel on March 14, 2024, where they continued airing until March 22, 2024. The rest of Season 2 episodes were later made available on DVD by October 8, 2024.
A third season was developed but never broadcast for unknown reasons. Eventually, it began airing on Nickelodeon's international networks on June 1, 2026.
