Octonauts: Above & Beyond 2021
Octonauts: Above & Beyond is an animated television series for children that continues the story of Octonauts. The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television Kids, formerly known as Silvergate Media, and created by Mainframe Studios for streaming on Netflix. It began airing on 7 September 2021 exclusively on that platform. This spin-off maintains the original format but shifts focus to land-based creatures and environments. The expanded scope of missions brings in additional crew members who become featured characters.
A second season launched on 2 May 2022 through Netflix. The third season premiered in China on 26 May 2023 and 16 October 2023 on CBeebies and the BBC iPlayer, with no set date for a Netflix release. A fourth season appeared on February 19, 2024, also on CBeebies and the BBC iPlayer. In May 2025, a fifth season was released in China, available in both English and Chinese. On May 29, 2026, the sixth and final season came out in China, similarly offered in both languages.
